What we believe
As Baptists we believe in the truths expressed in the historic creeds of the Church. We lay a particular emphasis on the importance of personal faith in Jesus Christ, as Saviour and Lord, and on the Bible as God’s Word, guiding the conduct of individuals and the life of the church.
As Charismatics we believe that upon conversion God sends His Holy Spirit into a believer’s life to help them to live a life worthy of their calling, enable them to grow in their faith and to equip them for service. Every believer is given a spritual gift (or gifts) and has a responsibility to discover and use them (Gifts include such things as prophecy, teaching, administration, helping others and many more).
