Community Work

One of the key aims of Leslie Baptist Church is to show how our faith in Jesus makes a difference in our local community.

Over the past years we have engaged with local families to ease holiday hunger, firstly through hot meals and then packed lunches when covid restrictions were brought in. We recognise however that the best way to help is to equip them "give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime!"  We are therefore planning a series of courses that will teach people the skills they need in these challenging times - these including practical things such as cooking and money management.
